Idly fingers


This is a great snack prepared from leftover idlis. This recipe takes less than 10 mins to make and is a delightful treat.

Ingredients:

Leftover idlis (each idli cut into 4 vertical strips)
Mustard seeds
Sesame seeds
Cumin seeds
Curry leaves
Chopped Coriander leaves
Salt to Taste

Method:

  • In a non stick pan,heat some oil and add the idli pieces.
  • Once slightly browned,toss over with a rubber spatula to roast evenly till light golden brown.
  • On one side of the pan,heat few tsps of oil and crackle the cumin,mustard,sesame seeds and curry leaves.
  • Toss the contents for the idles to be well coated with the tadka
  • Sprinkle chopped coriander and serve
